We love the simplicity, durability, and field repairability of simply tying your sling to your rifle with a length of paracord. But when using our PQD, we wanted a way to contain the knot at the sling. The Smith Loop, by 1350 Mill Works, is simply a polished-version of the paracord loop that retains the knot inside of an aluminum sleeve. Instead of Paracord, we've opted for a 450 lb tensile strength bump cord whose slightly smaller diameter allows smoother operation in and out of the PQD. The addition of rubber retainer sleeve allows you to cinch down the loop ensuring it stays put.
We recommend the 3" variant for PQD, whereas the 4", 6", and 8" are great for a variety of attachment points.
The Smith Loops have been strength tested by Nick at 1350 Mill Works and can sustain his weight of 170 pounds for 3-4 pull ups (using two Smith Loops simultaneously)

Most domestic orders qualify for free USPS shipping on all orders over $150. ITAR restricted items are not included and shipping charges will apply.
Delivery Times
Items usually ship from our warehouse within 3-5 days of purchase. You will receive an email from us once your package has shipped with a tracking number and a link to track directly.
ITAR items generally need 14 days to process, prior to shipping.
International Shipping
Although we are based in the USA, we can also ship to the countries within the European Union. ITAR items cannot ship outside of the United States.
Order Modifications
We understand that circumstances may change and strive to accommodate our customers whenever possible. Please review our cancellation policy carefully before placing an order.
All requests to cancel an order must be submitted within 24 hours of order placement. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to cancel it. Once fulfilled, an order cannot be edited or cancelled. Approved cancellations will be subject to a 5% cancellation fee, which will be deducted from the total refund.
ITAR-Controlled Orders:
Orders governed by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) require special handling and compliance. Once the ITAR form has been signed, these orders cannot be canceled or modified under any circumstances. By completing and signing the ITAR form, the customer acknowledges and accepts that the order is final and non-refundable.
Cancellation requests received after the 24-hour period, or after order processing has begun, may not be eligible for cancellation or refund.

Great little addition to a sling setup. I’m now able to run an Magpul MS1 sling in a way that supports 2-point mounting with the ability to shoot ambidextrously as well as being able to sling the rifle to my back completely; muzzle down for hands on tasks. The “tube” part that receives the sling strap is of very thick metal one piece not formed or with welded seam. The cord seems to be very strong yet pliable. Overall I’m very impressed with this part and even though I ordered two in each size and haven’t used them all, I’m very happy I did as I believe this component has more uses than just rifle slings.
Love the smith loop so far. Seems very durable. Time will tell, but for the first few weeks, it has been great. It is also a way better value than some other options I have previously used.
I have been using rifles since I was 18 including my infantry days and LE career. Now I teach self defense firearms training with rifles. The Smith Loop is a great idea over paracord. The smaller diameter of the bump cord and the addition of the metal sleeve are awesome. The sleeve stops the sling from collapsing on itself. Great concept, great execution. Tied in with the PQD and a OHC Slang sling you have a sling setup you can trust.

I bought one to go with the new metal paracord QD I should've bought one for each rifle! The range of motion, the fact that they're discreetly quiet, lightweight and durable make these a more viable option than say a traditional BCM QD setup. I'll definitely be buying for my other 6 rifles/AR pistols.
I have Smith loops on all 3 of my AR Pistols. They check all the boxes, quietly discreet, durable flexibility, and lightweight. Another simple innovation, love One Hundred Concepts.
Rugged and esthetic. Whether theyre used with a parachord qd or just wrapped around the rail and stock they work great. They flow better than standard qd mounts giving a better transition between my rifle hanging on the sling to shouldered.
The quality of the 3 inch loop is as good as the 4 inch. The 3 inch is very short and severely limits application. Just too short for my needs. No fault of the company.
