Designed to be the next generation of our prolific LightCap™, The Ruggedized LightCap™ incorporates all of the benefits of the original, as well as bringing some changes that our users have been asking for (imagine that!) with the latest version.
For starters, it's now made from an insanely durable TPU rubberized plastic, which allowed us to incorporate some new texture designs and be MUCH QUIETER when flipping the Cap on and off. Our new patent pending design with a flat front face and recessed finger location is easier to use when pulling-to-doff while retaining that push-to-doff ability that many users love.
Finally, we now include our ShockCollar™ with every single Ruggedized LightCap™. The original LightCap™ got a massive upgrade in functionality when we launched our ShockCollar™. Since we believe in the combo so much, we include them together to make installing Ruggedized LightCap™ as easy as possible.
The highly reflective head of a weapon light is a glaring hole (literally) in the camouflage system of your rifle. Aligned with our pursuit of signature reduction, the Ruggedized LightCap has a texturized body that better dissipates light.
The Ruggedized LightCap™ is a durable, quiet, low profile, and user serviceable cap that eliminates that reflection and fits a majority of weapon lights on the market. The LightCap also acts as a safety against negligent light discharges that would reveal the user’s position. This is especially important if running night vision and IR laser/illuminators where an unplanned white light discharge could be catastrophic.

Solid and perfect fit on a surefire M640DFT. Compatible with fabric wrap. I appreciate it comes with two different colors of shock cord. No signs of wear after 2 range days. Stellar and prompt customer service as well. Highly recommend this over the original nightcap model.
Really like the light caps. I run a tail cap switch, so not much chance of an accidental light discharge, but wanted a cap to protect my lens when shooting unsuppressed. They fit tight but are easy to flip up when needed.

The One Hundred Concepts Ruggedized LightCap fits beautifully on Inforce WML and WMLX lights, as well as (in my case) the shorter WML White-IR (Generation 2) models.

one hundred concepts is my weird uncle that convinced me i needed a cover for a light which by the way defeats the whole purpose of said light but it does make me look rugged i mean it makes my light look tough af and shout out to the ohc customer service you know im the best customer and that there's not one even in the same range ha get it range ok im out pew pew till you doo doo

Love the ruggedized light caps. Had to put it on all of them.
Looks great, easy to deploy and was simple to install.
The installation is quite easy. I have an AR with a muzzle break pointing directly at my light lens. Without the cap, the lens fouls badly after 60 rounds, with the cap, their is no carbon build up at all.

Perfect finish to complete the BCM 11.5 build. Now my MK18 clone is done. Well except it needs an FRT. Will be getting another cap soon to finish off my other SBR as well.

Haven’t been able to go to the range with it yet. But fits great on my surefire scout. I was able to get it tight enough that it’s easy to flip on/off, but completely blocks white light still when the cap is on.
To be honest, I bought it because it looked cool. It serves its intended purpose. I only probably go to the range three times every other month when shipping was cool. It wasn’t long, and installation was easy. I try uploading a photo. It said it didn’t support it.
Must improve stress points. Material crumbled when slightly tightened. Great product just poor material.

Love the new design, although I kinda prefer the homemade look of the original Ranger Band method. Either way, the Ruggedized Light Cap is great and is MUCH quieter than the original.
