In a word, excellent. If there is a plan to release an upgraded version, it would be great if a rear-mounted version could also be produced and sold.
NightVision HexCap
Specification
The NightVision HexCap is primarily designed to reduce downrange signature by minimizing objective lens reflection in both the white light and IR spectrum. Its integrated hex-pattern lens disrupts reflective surfaces on the objective lens, helping prevent light splash-back that can reveal the user’s position—without fully blocking incoming light during normal use.
Developed in response to industry feedback from Photonis Defense and Steele Industries, the NightVision HexCap blends the reflective mitigation benefits of our HexCap system with the modularity of our NightVision Cap platform. This results in a low-profile solution focused on signature reduction first, while retaining protective and configurable features.
For situations requiring complete light occlusion, the NightVision HexCap includes a full blackout cover, allowing the device to be fully sealed when not in use or when maximum protection is required. The system is also compatible with interchangeable sacrificial lenses, enabling users to tailor their setup for reflection control, environmental protection, or both.
Built around our patented ShockCollar™ technology, the NightVision HexCap helps absorb incidental impacts and vibration, reducing stress on mounted night vision devices. The integrated hex lens is permanently housed within the cap, ensuring durability, consistent alignment, and long-term reliability in harsh environments.
We know you have spent a used car or more on your night vision. We want to make sure it is protected!
Fitment Guide: NightVisionCap has been tested with Milspec/Carson and RPO 3.0 PVS-14 style optics. Will not fit PVS-31A or GPNVG devices (More sizes to come soon).

Fits like a glove. Glad I got it!!!
Awesome product to protect your investment. Added mine to my Nocturn Industries Raptor setup and really like how they look and feel. I was running DARQ Industries sacrificial lenses on the front and rear, but the hex cap acts as a sac lens, or you can take the hex out and keep your sac lens setup. Definitely going to get these again for my next set, highly recommend.
Great addition to my dual-tube NVGs! These One Hundred Concepts Nightvision HexCaps fit my Steele Industries Nighthawk-MGs perfectly. The lightweight design, secure fit, and anti-reflection honeycomb structure work exactly as intended while still maintaining a clean sight picture. They also provide solid protection for the objective lenses without adding unnecessary bulk. Like the other OHC products I’ve purchased, the quality and attention to detail are outstanding. Thank you for continuing to make innovative gear and for providing exceptional customer support.
Great product but no instructions and on line video is too dark and far away. Had to use other you tube source.
It’s meh. It works, but shop around.
I got these thinking they had the impact filters instead of just the hex caps. So OHC does not make the regular dual nod NVG set up anymore? This is pretty disappointing.
They work well and look cool on my Katanas
Great product as always.
Third purchase from OHC. As always, excelent build quality and attention to detail. I’ll definitely be ordering again.
Perfect fit and perfect function. Minimal to zero noticeable difference in performance in low light as compared to a bare optic and super light weight!
Solid covers for my NODs, must have like all OHC products
Cuts down light transmission significantly. Im sure they are very effective for cutting down glare but I don’t believe its worth the decrease in visibility in most circumstances.
They look great, fit great, and function great!
Awesome addition to my PvS 14. Stays in place and does a good job of protecting the unit. I def recommed!
