Works great on my weapon light. I can hit all 3 settings and it lets out enough light to see without ruining my vision.
Specification
The AdminCap is designed to modify the Surefire Vampire lights, particularly those mounted on helmets with swivel mounts, giving it multiple output levels. It includes a unique feature known as ShockCollar technology, which allows it to clamp onto the head of Surefire Vampire lights securely.
-
Dual Functionality: By using a pin hole in the front of the AdminCap, it allows users to reduce the power of full-power lights for close-up administrative tasks. This essentially provides dual functionality: users can switch between high-power settings suitable for general illumination and reduced-power settings ideal for tasks requiring less light intensity.
-
Integration with Surefire Vampire: The AdminCap is specifically tailored for Surefire Vampire lights due to their popularity as helmet-mounted lights in military and other applications. It enhances the Surefire Vampire's functionality by allowing seamless rotation between infrared (IR) and visible light settings without snagging, thanks to its flipper-tab-less design.
-
Light Modes: When combined with the AdminCap, the Surefire Vampire light offers four accessible light modes in one package:
- Low infrared (IR)
- High infrared (IR)
- Low visible light
- High visible light
-
Application and Benefits: This setup is particularly useful in contexts where users require versatile lighting options without compromising on ease of use or functionality. The AdminCap's design ensures rapid access to different light modes and enhances the overall utility of the Surefire Vampire lights in various operational scenarios.
***Due to the nature of flashlight emitters you may notice a "dual ring" effect, this is normal.

This is a very smart design. The small amount of light getting through is perfect for navigating either under nvgs or white light.
Adds flexibility to the SF Vamp. I can now use it for small admin type tasks.

Works great and matched everything else great!
Helpful in the Jungle. Semper
Rock solid product
Great product
Admin light cap works great on my Modlite . It’s a perfect fit for my helmet or my long gun.
Great product. Works as described. Had my order arrive swiftly only to find out the flashlight head bezel was broken in shipping. Contact OHC and asked how much the bezel would be. Broken in shipping is not their fault, but they sent me a new bezel at no charge anyway. Thanks OHC!
Another great product.
Best product for a light cap
amazing product, does what is described.
Yay
Love what you guys do! Thank you
Great design for the surefire vampire lights mounted to a helmet..
Absolutely love it!
Love that it hides the reflection, but also functions to make the light dimmer/more narrow pattern. Wish it came in coyote/fde
Seems really well built. Time will tell the durability but I’m positively optimistic. Will definitely purchase more items from OHC
Simple solution to a simple problem, the ol KISS method for the win again.
I would like for it to offered in flat dark earth but otherwise it’s amazing!
Shipped in a timely manner and easy installation. Love it so far!
Great purpose driven item for helmet mounted vampire. Small output hole is great for a task light.
Nice upgrade
Essentially removes the need to have both an admin light and a flashlight on your helmet. Fantastic to use with white light or IR with a vampire head.
A must have for LARPers who run nods and a helmet vampire
Excellent product. I have already used it training and it was extremely helpful.
